Ikuntji Artists is a member-based, not for profit, Aboriginal art centre. It is situated in the community of Haasts Bluff (Ikuntji), and has a board of six Indigenous directors all of whom live and work locally. Haasts Bluff has a population of around 150 people.
Ikuntji is situated within the spectacular West MacDonnell Ranges. The community is surrounded on the northern side be Ulumparu, known as Mount Edward, and Anyali, know as Mount William, and in the south by the stunning Mereenie Bluff. To the west red sand hills and stands of desert oak trees, known locally as “kurrkara watiya”, dominate the landscape.
Ikuntji Artists is a registered charity with both DGR and PBI status..
