2017 Alice Springs Town Council Community Grants

The 2017 Alice Springs Town Council Community Grants Program is now open.

Grant applications close at 4:00pm Wednesday 1 March 2017. This is the only round of funding for 2017.

The objectives of Council’s Community Grants Program are to support community initiatives and encourage the ongoing social, cultural, recreational and environmental development of Alice Springs.

In 2016 a total of $33,500 was awarded to 13 community organisations through the Alice Springs Town Council Community Grants Program. Some of the community organisations who benefited from these grants in 2016 included:
◾NT Writers Centre
◾Alice Springs Beanie Festival
◾Sustainable Couture
◾Studio B
◾Central Australian Singing for the Desert Song Festival
◾Birth & Beyond’s Alice Birth Project
◾MHACA’s Wellness Walk and Fun Run
◾Acacia Hill Community Art Exhibition
◾Red Dirt Poetry Festival
