Entries are now open for the 2017 Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award.
The Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award was established in 1999, the International Year of the Older Person.

The Award highlights the achievements of older Territorians and fosters excellence and creativity in the art of portraiture by artists who are residents of the Northern Territory. In 2017, for the first time, the Award will open in Alice Springs and then travel to Darwin.

Through this Art Award, the Northern Territory Government celebrates the significant and valuable contributions that senior Territorians make to our community.

Entries for this year’s award must be submitted by Friday 10 March to be eligible for the Acquistive Award prize.  All entries will showcase in Alice Springs before heading to Darwin later this year.
