8CCC Radio: Content Grants Open

The Community Broadcasting Foundation Content Grants are currently open.

Content grants aim to support the development, production and distribution of content via Australian community radio and associated platforms.

The CBF fund content that has never been broadcast before, including new episodes of existing programs. This could be a live broadcast,a radio play, a regular show or an audio series. Content can go to air in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek on 102.1FM- can be live streamed online and can also be accessed ‘On Demand’ or as podcasts.

This year they are particularly looking to:

  • increase community participation and diversity in community broadcasting and/or
  • support creativity and excellence in content production.

8CCC Community radio can partner with individuals or organisations to apply for funding to create unique audio productions from Central Australia and the Barkley. You can review the grant guidelines at the CBF website.

Last year The Alice Birth Project, produced in Alice Springs by Nicole Lee, won the Community Broadcasting Foundations Best New Program: Talks .
