Advocate Art Award 2018 – Call for Entries

The Advocate Art Award is an institution, a much-loved annual exhibition presented by the Central Australian Art Society (CAAS), an important volunteer-run organisation in Alice Springs providing support, resources and opportunities for artists. Thanks to generous local business sponsorship, the Advocate Art Award offers significant prizes and professional development opportunities awarded across several categories, in addition to the major non-acquisitive award of $2000. Open to Central Australian artists, working in any medium, and without a process of pre-selection, the Advocate Art Award is an inclusive exhibition bringing the works of established and new artists together in the Araluen Galleries. Anticipation is always high on opening night, with winners announced and a party atmosphere as the Central Australian community celebrates the creative breadth and depth of this region.
