ALICE SPRINGS COURTYARD SESSIONS – TED EGAN & JEANETTE WORMALD

Australian icon and national living treasure Ted Egan AO joins with singer songwriter Jeanette Wormald to celebrate Australia in song. Ted Egan has captured the essence of not only the Territory but Australia in his songs – which span five decades. A consummate performer, his generosity and guidance has also been instrumental in launching and developing many music careers of Australia’s leading artists.

Jeanette Wormald has toured nationally and internationally and released four albums to critical acclaim. Formerly from South Australia, she has now calls the Territory home.

“Her music deserves to be taken seriously…Her songs are born of red earth…and the kind of skies you see nowhere else in the world.” John Schumann (Redgum).

The Courtyard Sessions are increasing in popularity as family friendly outdoor concerts.  BYO chairs or swags, BYO welcome. There is hot food available too through The Bean Tree Cafe.

Proudly sponsored by Southern Cross TV, CAAMA Radio, Sally Balfour Graphic Design, Songs of the Inland, CAFS, Olive Pink Botanic Garden, The Bean Tree Cafe, Coleman’s Printing and Outback Bob Photography.
