Our Last Tango

In Buenos Aires in the 1940’s, she was the most beautiful girl in the neighbourhood and he could not dance at all. But they had a dream – together they changed the history of tango. This feature documentary film directed by German Kral and produced by Wim Wenders tells the story of Marie Nieves Rego and Juan Carlos Copes, the two most famous dancers in tango’s history. Maria (80) and Juan (83) met as teenagers, and danced together for nearly fifty years.
