Arrkanala Lyhilhitjika

Arrkanala Lyhilhitjika is a choral fantasia presented by the Central Australian Women’s choir appearing in their first concert since returing home from their tour of Germany. This concert will unveil the largely unknown story of almost 120 years of choral practice in remote Central Australian Aboriginal communities. Created by Morris Stuart, this work will also feature a multi-arts rear projection by award-winning filmmaker Naina Sen. A performance illustrated by images of country, archival material, interviews, soundscapes and stories.

All bookings via Araluen Box office on (08) 8951 1120. Concerts featuring the Aboriginal Women’s

Choirs have sold out in the past and there is an extra buzz of anticipation about this concert following their tour of Germany. Book early to avoid disappointment.
