This Thursday, 4th June, Russell Guy will be talking about the values of his recently published, contemporary Australian novel DRY CROSSING at the Alice Springs library from 5 – 6PM. The novel is set around Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, the Barkly and Diamantina regions of the NT and Q. It concerns a character named Dizzy Roundabout, a white guitarist in an Aboriginal dance band who keeps going around the sex, drugs and r ‘n’ r circuit until disaster forces him to confront these values. Refreshments and copies of the novel will be available.
