Central Craft 2016 Exhibition Call Out

Central Craft is a dynamic member-based community arts organisation in Alice Springs, committed to supporting art & craft practice in Central Australia though our studio, workshops, retail outlet and annual exhibition program. The June Marriott Gallery showcases contemporary and traditional art, craft and design by local and interstate artists and craftspeople at all stages of their creative development and careers.
Located a short distance from the centre of Alice Springs, Central Craft is situated on the Araluen Cultural Precinct, alongside the Araluen Arts Centre, the Museum of Central Australia, the Strehlow Research Centre and the Central Australian Aviation Museum. The precinct is a premier cultural destination for visitors and the local community.

Central Craft is now inviting submissions for our February to December 2016 exhibition program. We encourage expressions of interest from new and emerging artists and craftspeople working in any medium, exhibitions with a strong Central Australian community focus, group exhibitions and the promotion of national contemporary practice in Central Australia through exhibitions from interstate.
