Register of Consultants / Contractors

IAD Press is establishing a register of consultants / contractors to work with us to continue our function as one of Australia’s leading Indigenous owned and controlled publishing houses.

IAD Press – http://www.iadpress.com – is the publishing arm of the Institute for Aboriginal Development (Aboriginal Corporation), a not for profit Aboriginal community controlled organisation. IAD is located in Mparntwe  (Alice Springs), the traditional lands of the Arrernte people of the Northern Territory of Australia.

Established in the early 1970’s, IAD Press has built a strong reputation nationally and internationally as an Indigenous publisher of excellence. The purpose of IAD Press is to:

• Publish the works of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers and artists,
• Promote the many and varied voices of Indigenous Australia, and
• Maintain and promote Indigenous language and culture.

IAD Press is embracing the growth in the field of online, web based and smart phone / tablet app content delivery. This will best profile nationally and internationally the voices of Indigenous Australia.

IAD Press is committed to ensuring that all our publications are authentic and respectful in regard to both content and process.

Call for interest:

We are inviting interest from people with experience and qualifications in publishing – both traditional and electronic. We want to hear from editors, designers, graphic artists, web developers, soft ware programmers, print production coordinators, project managers, marketers, social entrepreneurs and innovators.

• Details of your experience and qualifications

• Details of your availability and expected payment schedule

• Where appropriate examples of your work or web links to examples
