Eye of the Storm: Discussions and Panels at Olive Pink
Eye of the Storm festival of new Australian writing, culture and ideas, promises a walk on the wild side, with a lip quivering line-up of writers speaking on themes of lust, lunacy, desire, power and control.
Olive Pink Botanical Gardens will become alive with debate and discussion with eight extraordinary panels over two days (Saturday 27/5 and Sunday 28/5), promising rich and provocative discussion on topics as diverse as: Women, sex and power; Digital futures; Home truths: writing about family; Identity, culture and stereotypes; History and memory; Creation stories and fairy tales: children’s writing and the moral compass; and, Bearing witness: writing and social justice.
