From Photograph to Cool Craft

A digital photography/image manipulation/printing workshop with Patricia Rademaker.

This entry level course is for anyone interested in improving their photographic skills and for those wishing to push the photographic image as a basis for other art and craft disciplines.

The workshop will include the basic photographic elements of composition and design, simple photo alteration and manipulation techniques using computer software, printing images onto fabrics and other substrates, creating new multi-media possibilities and providing hands-on skills for application to individual projects. Open to participants of all skill levels.

Artist Bio: Patricia Rademaker is a professional photographer and teacher of over 20 years and teaches in Creative Technology: Information and Communication Systems at The Gordon Institute of TAFE in Geelong. She brings together her extensive photographic, film, computing, teaching and creative skills to run workshops for people who want to expand their creative possibilities using technology and craft.
