ISEA 2013 calls for expressions of interest

ISEA International (formerly Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts) is an international nonprofit organization fostering interdisciplinary academic discourse and exchange among culturally diverse organizations and individuals working with art, science and technology. The main activity of ISEA International is the annual International Symposium on Electronic Art. ISEA2013 will be held in Sydney, NSW.

ISEA 2013 is pleased to announce that the first call for Expressions of Interest from artists and organisations wishing to develop, commission or present work in association with ISEA2013 is now open

Please note that the first call out is focussed on projects with impending grant due dates and large-scale projects with long lead times. See the Proposals Page <http://www.isea2013.org/proposals>
for some general information on future rounds.

Also, in this round ISEA 2013 is working with the Australia Council for the Arts to support a few major projects to secure support through the Creative Australia program. Applicants interested in these opportunities (please read the guidelines on the Australia Council site <http://www.australiacouncil.gov.au/grants/grants/2012/newart-creativedevelopment>) are also encouraged to submit in this round. Short listed projects may be asked to submit, with our support, an Australia Council application form.

So, if you have an idea for a projects that is dependent on funding from other sources (i.e. government, philanthropic agencies, etc.) with deadlines approaching or you have an idea for a Creative Australia project that might be suitable for an outcome in ISEA, we are encouraging you to apply now.

Please make sure you read the FAQs <http://www.isea2013.org/faq>  and the Proposals page before making a submission.
