John Bell Scholarship Auditions
The John Bell Scholarship is offered by Bell Shakespeare and provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend one week with the company in Sydney. In 2017, students from Alice Springs will have the opportunity to audition in person for the players of Bell Shakespeare
Three students are selected each year from across Australia to come to Sydney and spend a week with Bell Shakespeare. They will participate in acting masterclasses, be taught by the Founding Artistic Director of Bell Shakespeare, John Bell, observe one week of cast rehearsals, see live theatre and perform their winning monologue for Artistic Director Peter Evans and a Bell Shakespeare cast.

This year, Bell Shakespeare will be holding auditions at the Araluen Arts Centre for Alice Springs students on Monday 4 September. Further information on the audition requirements are attached and monologue lists can be downloaded from https://www.bellshakespeare.com.au/learning/scholarships/john-bell-scholarship/
If you have are 16 years or older and would like to participate in the John Bell Scholarship auditions, please send you name to [email protected] to schedule an audition. You will be required to fill and hand in a registration form that verifies your age and that you are still a school aged student at your audition.
Audition registration closes on Monday 28 August.
