NT Writers’ Festival Opening in the Gardens

Please join us in the gardens for a truly special opening of the 2017 NT Writers’ Festival – Alice Springs, with an Arrernte welcome at sunset, as we embark upon the journey of Crossings | Iwerre Atherre.

Enjoy a sample of short readings from festival guests including author of the acclaimed ‘Dark Emu’ Bruce Pascoe, Indonesian writer Agustinus Wibowo, spoken word poets Eunice Andrada and Abe Nouk, and writers from Central Australia. We are honoured to have song women from the Gulf Country here as special guests of the festival who tonight will share some of their own songs from their recently published songbook.

NT Writers’ Festival runs 18-21 May. Full program at ntwriters.com.au
