Patterns in Nature: A drawing workshop with Carole Driver

In conjunction with her Phytomorphs exhibition at the Araluen Arts Centre, Carole Driver delivers a drawing workshop at Central Craft, exploring and experimenting with the geometry and structure of plant form and how these patterns can be a catalyst for projects beyond drawing. For all levels.

Carole Driver Biography:

Carole is a sculptor and installation artist. Born in England, she has taught & practiced sculpture in Canada and Australia for over 25 years and shows her work internationally. Her work often has a body/figurative element which is used to explore a variety of states of consciousness through a fusion of traditional sculptural methods, site specific and new media installation. She has a Masters in Fine Art from The Academy of the Arts, Queensland University of Technology, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sculpture from Capilano University in Vancouver, where she researched experimental foundry processes.
