A return to the magic of light-sensitive paper and darkroom developing in this introductory workshop on Saturday September 14th.
A photogram is a photographic image, made without camera or film, by placing various objects directly onto the surface of light-sensitive photographic paper and exposing it to light. The result is a negative image, full of silhouettes and overlaying shapes and details. Using various materials, participants will compose, design and arrange images. The photogram also works as a format for learning the process of darkroom developing.
