Play: Lady Audley’s Secret
St Philip’s College Senior Drama students present the melodrama Lady Audley’s Secret.
This society melodrama resonates in the 1860’s Victorian Era.
Lady Audley is a young woman who, in order to flee her past, marries rich old Sir Michael Audley, who knows little about her history. He is blind to his wife’s manipulation and wickedness, and sees her in only splendour. In walks George Talboys, the mysterious friend of Sir Michael’s nephew Robert and the drama begins.
There is a dangerous secret that looms over the Audley household, and George holds the key
