Red Dirt Beatz – Underground Hip Hop from the Heartlandz
It’s a one-off, seriously awesome fundraising party to support the recording/ release of these amazing young Indigenous artists from Alyawarr Country (Northeast of Alice Springs).
Join the Desert Pea Media crew as we raise funds to support an ongoing mentoring program facilitated by DPM, Monkey Marc and Barkly Regional Council – it’s all going down at 6pm @ ‘Watch This Space Gallery’ in Alice Springs, NT on 29th May 2015.
It’s music video screenings, live performances, licensed bar, merchandise and a photo exhibition…

HILL BOYS/ E-TOWN BOYZ
From the remote communities of Epennara and Elliot NT, these crews have also evolved out of an ongoing media program through both Desert Pea Media, Barkly Shire Council and a mentoring program delivered by music producer and OG community artist Monkey Marc. These guys all perform together with the D7’s as a massive Alyawarr headliner 😉
Here’s a recent youth development program in Elliott with Monkey Marc.
