River Skins | Alexandra Gillespie

Documents clothing discarded like cast-off second skins during a mythic journey to become enmeshed with the earth, layering presence (and past) into place, in the sand and soil of the Todd River and around Spencer Hill.

The photo media exhibition by Canberra-based artist Alexandra Gillespie also features new writing, Sheddings, by performance maker, writer and long-time resident of Alice Springs, Dani Powell.
