The Alice Prize

Presented by the Alice Springs Art Foundation

The Alice Prize is one of Australia’s longest standing and most renowned art prizes, a biennial acquisitive award attracting emerging and established artists from across the country. The final exhibition presents artworks chosen from hundreds of entries by an expert selection panel. Open to artists working in any medium and to any theme, The Alice Prize is a dynamic and engaging exhibition of contemporary Australian art, representing a diverse range of cultures and disciplines.
Chris Saines CNZM, director of the Queensland Art Gallery Of Modern Art, will judge this year’s prize. The winner receives $25,000 and the winning artwork is acquired by the Alice Springs Art Foundation for the Araluen Art Collection.
