The School for Scandal

The School for Scandal is a Comedy of Manners, set in the late 18th century, written by Richard Sheridan. The play cleverly sends up the British Aristocracy in London, where gossip, rumour and scandal are the favourite past times. The audience will enjoy meeting this strange array of oddballs as they duck and weave amongst each other, trying to trip each other up at every opportunity. The language is beautiful, the costumes and set superb and the characters laughable.

Does gossip pay? You be the judge.
