After a sold out national tour earlier this year, fans of The Waifs have been taking to social media, begging for more. Now their calls have been answered, with the announce of a run of dates scheduled for November and December.
Some old favourites and a few unique venues make up this 13 date tour spanning the country from the Red Centre to the Apple Isle. There are a few extra stops along the way, including the Queenscliff Music Festival and McLaren Vale’s Gorgeous Festival.
Reflecting on their most recent jaunt earlier this year, Vikki said: “It really was one of the best tours in terms of feeling connected to our music again and enjoying one another’s company. A bit of medicine”.
These doses of medicine are administered few and far between for both the band and their fans, with The Waifs living life in different corners of the world.
This tour is the first time since 2011 that the full band will be on the road together. Vikki, Donna, Josh, Ben and Dave will reunite to perform old favourites, with the possibility of a few tastes of what’s to come.
