Watercolour Landscape Painting: Three week intro course with Carol Adams

Watercolour has a long history in the documentation and representation of the Australian landscape, and particularly so in Central Australia. In this three week course, held on Saturday mornings (Feb 15th, 22nd, March 1st) at the Central Craft Studio, beginners with no previous experience of watercolour painting, or those looking to revisit the basics, will learn how to understand and manage the materials and the medium of watercolour, whilst also being introduced to the underlying fundamentals of colour, perspective and composition theory.

Carol Adams has lived in and around Alice Springs for the past 30 years, gaining inspiration from the magnificent local environment and from her travels. Watercolour is Carol’s passion and her aim is to extend the use and enjoyment of this medium in ‘The Centre’. Carol’s work is exhibited in private collections in Australia, the US, UK and Spain.
