WOS2018 – May 4-6. 10 years of music, art and desert culture.
Australia’s most “out there” music and arts festival is happening again in 2018!
The multi-day festival is held at Ross River Resort, nestled in the East MacDonnell Ranges an hour’s drive from Alice Springs. The festival celebrates desert culture and the incredible landscape through its diverse creative program of music, art, workshops and performance. Expect fun, frivolity, noise, costumes, dancing, reflections and expressions.
There is fun for all the family, and plenty of family to be a part of! The festival is still an intimate affair, run by a team of dedicated crew, who are committed to keeping it real and bringing you an incredible weekend at one of the most picturesque festival sites in Australia. The 2017 event attracted 2000 people, and 2018 is shaping up to be a big one!

NOTE** – The festival also has a social conscience – over the past 2 years, WOS has run a fund-raising campaign alongside its ticketing system to offer patrons the opportunity to donate to the Arid Lands Environment Centre. WOS matches donations dollar-for-dollar, which demonstrates a part of the festivals investment into the local community and our shared future. Together, we have managed to donate $7500 over the past 2 years.
