ARTS NT GRANTS

ARTS NT- QUICK RESPONSE SCHEME
Ongoing- increases access for applicants to unforeseen arts opportunities in a flexible and responsive manner in the Northern Territory. Individuals, groups and organisations may apply. Funding Limit: Up to $1,500 per grant to a max of $2,000 per financial year. For more information and application forms click here

ARTS NT- COMMUNITY GRANTS
Ongoing-
offers up to $5,000 to support community based arts activities with a strong focus on community involvement in all stages of the project. Individuals, groups and organisations may apply. Activities for organisations can not include those already delivered through core program funding. For more information and application forms click here

ARTS NT- COMMUNITY FESTIVALS FUND
Ongoing
– the Community Festivals Fund supports established and emerging regional and remote community festivals to develop and present artistic programs and cultural maintenance initiatives in community arts celebrations by offering up to $20,000 per year for up to three years. Applications should be submitted at least 12 weeks before the start date of the proposed festival to allow for notification prior to festival commencement. AUSTRALIA COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS GRANTS

The Australia Council for the Arts offers a broad range of grants for Australian artists and arts organisations. Funding is given to special programs and initiatives to strengthen the arts sector and develop audiences for Australian art, both nationally and internationally. Funding is also used by artists to develop new skills, undertake residencies and fellowships, and access domestic and international markets for their art.

There are 50 grant categories and 40 initiatives on offer in 2012. All Australian artists, groups and arts organisations are welcome to apply to grant programs and many other initiatives.

INDIGENOUS SMALL BUSINESS FUND

The Indigenous Small Business Fund (ISBF) offers funding to Indigenous community-based organisations to assist Indigenous people learn about business, develop good business skills and expand their businesses. The ISBF provides funds for projects that help create Indigenous business opportunities and provide jobs for Indigenous people. For more information click here

THE IAN POTTER CULTURAL TRUST

Since its inception in 1992, The Ian Potter Foundation has provided a platform for emerging Australian artists, providing a crucial kick start into their careers. The trust aims to cultivate and nurture cultural diversity and excellence within the arts and grants are provided to individuals in support of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, community arts, conservation and moveable cultural heritage, crafts, design, literature, music, performing arts, radio, film, television, video and visual arts. Applications for funding are assessed quarterly throughout the year by the Board of Governors of the Foundation.
