Wearable Art Awards 2012 Terms & Conditions


Only one entry per category per entrant.

All WAA pieces must be brought to Red Hot Arts Central Australia, 67 Bath St and presented for inspection at the music drop off/documentation day/s on 28th and 29th July 2012.  Further details will be advised once entries are confirmed.

The same model/s must be available for all rehearsals and show/s.

Entrants choose their own music to accompany their performance.  Performances must run for a maximum of one minute in duration.

Stage props are not permitted unless they are in integral part of the outfit.

Entries must be original concepts designed and created by the artist/s, specifically for the WAA 2012.

Entries in the Children’s Show will be required to state the percentage level of adult assistance used in garment creation.

All reasonable care will be taken with pieces; however no responsibility will be accepted by Red Hot Arts Central Australia for damage or loss of pieces.

The WAA reference group reserves the right to re-categorise entries if necessary.

Non-acquired winners may be requested to lend their creations to the Alice Desert Festival for possible future exhibitions/events.

No perishable materials are to be used in WAA garments.
