We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Bindi Enterprises team as an Arts Support Worker.

The role is focused on providing person centered support to artists living with disabilities.

As an Arts Support Worker your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of Art Materials – cut, stretch, prime canvas, prepare paper
Mix and maintain paints
Assist with keeping the studio clean & tidy
Photographing artworks
Assist with cataloguing artworks: writing details on artworks
Limited use of SAM – arts database
Support artists
Assist with preparation for exhibitions, art fairs and workshops
During busy periods prior to exhibitions, we are always looking for extra assistance
Make It Matter – What you will bring to make a difference in other’s lives

A love of Art, fine art background desirable
Versatile communication skills including the ability to interact with both verbal and non-verbal customers
Current driver’s license and full access to an insured vehicle for transportation of customers if required (mandatory requirements)
Current  NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be willing to obtain)
Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003 (or be willing to obtain)
Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar, would be advantageous
Mandatory Public Health Orders in each state require our disability and child and family workers to be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations.  In most cases, this will be 3 doses unless only recently completed a second dose or had a COVID infection; and you having your 3rd dose within the required timeframe.   Successful candidates will be asked to provide government issued evidence of vaccination or an exemption on the required form or as directed.
