Red Hot Arts Central Australia is seeking EOIs from experienced producers for the 2022 Bush Food Festival! Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Bush Foods Festival will be held 6-9 October 2022 and will celebrate local bush foods and practice. The festival will work in collaboration with local organisations, venues and businesses to deliver a program of events, including a bush foods recipe competition, community activations, workshops and demonstrations, and a bush foods gala dinner.
The Bush Foods Festival Producer will be responsible for the delivery and operations of the festival, including liaising with stakeholders, budgeting, planning, bookings, marketing and more, and will work closely with a contracted First Nations consultant, who will provide the strategic and artistic direction of the festival.
Red Hot Arts Central Australia is looking for someone with appropriate experience in producing events, is a team player, a great communicator and knows their way around making documents and schedules. This will be a high-profile role and the person will need to collaborate with our team and all the partner organisations. This person will need to be available for 30 hours per week from mid-July to mid-October 2022.
