Are you an early career artist looking to travel for professional development?
The Ian Potter Cultural Trust provides grants of up to $10,000 for emerging artists to undertake international professional development opportunities, gain experience, develop networks and learn skills from leaders in their field. Artists from all practice areas are encouraged to consider applying. The Trust provides support for structured professional development projects which have been carefully curated for maximum opportunity, such as:
- Residencies or study tours which have a clear skills development focus
- Mentoring or private lessons
- Internships, workshops and conferences
- Postgraduate study with a focus on skills development and artistic practice.
If you want to know more about grants available to individual artists through The Ian Potter Cultural Trust, Creative Partnerships will be hosting a Q&A session with the Trust’s program management team, Louise Arkles and Subhadra Mistry.
Date: Monday 27 August
Place: Red Hot Arts Central Australia, Alice Springs
Two previous Cultural Trust grantees – Madeleine Krenek and Frankie Snowdon – will also be there to share their experiences as grant recipients.
