Red Hot Arts Central Australia (RHACA) is seeking a General Manager to help lead us in 2021.
Red Hot Arts Central Australia (RHACA) is a vibrant arts incubator fostering arts and cultural innovation, development, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.
Its unique model engages the imagination of the communities of Alice Springs and the surrounding Central Australia region, and transcends physical, social, and technological challenges to achieve positive change.
We work closely with artists, artworkers and arts and cultural organisations through creative industries and cross sector partnership development; advocacy, sector and industry support; and marketing and audience development to cultivate and shape the central Australian arts sector, contributing to the artistic, cultural and economic development of the region.
As the regional arts body for Central Australia, we provide a range of services to the community, including workshop, rehearsal and meeting spaces and facilities for hire.
We promote the region’s arts and cultural events across traditional, online, and digital poster platforms and actively support a range of arts and cultural projects, focusing on community development practice activating community engagement and social well-being through the arts.
RHACA undertakes commissions and contracted projects and our nationally recognised Desert Festival attracts local, regional, national, and international audiences; providing a memorable experience that showcases our unique arts, cultural and social landscape within our dynamic desert region.
The General Manager has overall responsibility for leadership of Red Hot Arts Central Australia (RHACA), including management of all operational activities, human and financial resources, and site management.
The General Manager will provide input into the strategic vision and develop the organisation to work with the arts and creative industries of Alice Springs and Central Australia.
