RHACA is a vibrant arts incubator fostering arts and cultural innovation, development, collaboration and entrepreneurship. Its unique model engages the imagination of the communities of Alice Springs and the surrounding Central Australia region, and transcends physical, social and technological challenges to achieve positive change. We work closely with artists, artworkers and arts and cultural organisations through creative industries and cross sector partnership development; advocacy, sector and industry support; and marketing and audience development to cultivate and shape the central Australian arts sector, contributing to the artistic, cultural and economic development of the region.

As the regional arts body for Central Australia, we provide a range of services to the community, including workshop, rehearsal and meeting spaces and facilities for hire. We promote the region’s arts and cultural events across traditional, online and digital poster platforms and actively support a range of arts and cultural projects, focusing on community development practice activating community engagement and social well-being through the arts.

Red Hot Arts undertakes commissions and contracted projects.

The Festivals and Events Manager is a new position and will have overall responsibility to develop and implement Red Hot Arts artistic programming in line with the organisation’s aims. The role requires demonstrated experience in multi-arts event planning and implementation.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will work with the curatorial programming committee and relevant stakeholders to design, plan, manage and implement the technical delivery of the Desert Festival, the Red Hot Arts Show Development Program and commissioned and contracted projects as they arise.
