Sarah Pirrie’s sumptuous exhibition We Eat We Are celebrates social cohesion through food and food culture via an eclectic mix of paintings, fanzines, recipe cards, altarpieces and video installations that explore intergenerational and cross-cultural food experiences.
In the spirit of communal sharing and exchange at the heart of food culture, We Eat We Are incorporates a Story Larder where audience members are invited to participate in activities that contribute to an ever expanding visual and verbal foodie narrative.
