Territory Day Rescheduled – Alice Springs Community Celebration

We are excited to share that 2021 Territory Day – Alice Springs celebrations are locked in for August 29th! Here are the details:
Where: Anzac Oval, Wills Terrace
Time: 5pm – 8:30pm
Entertainment: Experience the high-energy grooves of the world-inspired Afrobeat explosion King Marong and the Tamala Express followed by a Welcome to Country at 6pm by Arrernte elder Kumalie (Rosalie) Riley. Headlined by Aussie favourite band Busby Marou, Alice Springs’ Colin Lillie Music will also take to the stage with his powerhouse vocals. Free kids’ activities, including face painting, balloon twisting, a jumping castle and more.
Food and Drink: Plenty of food and drink stalls available. This is an alcohol-free event.
Fireworks Display: Sit back and enjoy a spectacular display that will light up the central Australian desert skies, delighting young and old, from 8:30pm.
Getting there: Parking available in the Alice Springs CBD with accessible parking at Anzac Oval carpark.
