Prince Pout III’s sensationally sardonic tales of misadventure, from familial drama to man-droughts in the desert, have kept audiences in stitches!  Catering unapologetically to an LGBTQI+ audience, their friends and allies, Pout always has a story to tell. So, enter his court for an evening of crazed comedy and leave just a little bit more fabulous than when you arrived!

Since debuting at Darwin Fringe in 2017, he has carved out an LGBTQI-themed comedic niche, making a fabulous splash across Australia.

In 2018, Pout returned to Darwin Fringe with a new production, Pout Planet!, exploring themes of love, heartache and singledom as a gay man in the NT and collecting the Golden Croc for Best Comedy!

The Misadventure of Pout: Prince of the Desert, amalgamates the previous two Prince Pout incarnations, The Recurring Misadventure of Prince Pout III (2017) and Pout Planet! (2018), rounding out his unfortunate tale with stories of recovery and rebirth. The material will be delivered with Pout’s merciless wit and vivacity.

Desert Festival takes place on the land of the Central Arrernte people. We wish to pay our respects to the traditional owners of this Country and to their ancestors.
