The Tennant Creek Men’s art program started in 2016 as an Art therapy/outreach program set up by Anyinginyi Aboriginal Health Organisation. This exhibition ‘King of the Roosters’ is an exciting glimpse of a body of work that represents the enthusiasm and dedication of the men’s painting group as they continue to develop a cathartic visual language fuelled by the complexities of life in Tennant. ARTISTS in MUSEUMS

The ARTISTS in MUSEUMS project partners Alice Springs based artists with local museums and heritage buildings to create a suite of site-specific pop-up exhibitions on display from 11 May – 16 June. Participating venues are Megafauna Central, The Residency, Adelaide House, Old Hartley Street School, Woman's Museum of Australia, Museum of Central Australia.

Advocate Art Award

The Central Australian Art Society Inc. presents the Advocate Art Awards Applications are now open to all artists in Central Australia. Entries must be the original work of the entrant, completed in the last 12 months and have not been previously exhibited in Central Australia. Entries close Friday 12th July.
