Alice Springs Town Coun­cil is excit­ed to announce the inau­gur­al Alice Upcy­cle Art Prize! This addi­tion to the Alice Springs arts cal­en­dar is an ini­tia­tive from Council’s Cli­mate Action Plan that cel­e­brates artis­tic inno­va­tion whilst pro­mot­ing envi­ron­men­tal awareness. Community Benefit Fund – Minor Community Grants

Minor community grants aims to improve the capacity of not-for-profit organisations to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities to Territorians. Eligible organisations can apply for amounts up to $15,000. Current Priorities: Priority 1 Applications from grass roots organisations that have limited ability to source funding from other sources. The renewed Artists’ Benevolent Fund hopes to provide modest but useful one-off financial assistance to Australian visual artists in crisis as a result of fire, flood, storm, serious illness, major accident, declared state or national emergencies, or some other unexpected catastrophic experience.
