Artists will be invited to participate in any or all the workshops offered that are relevant to their practice. In addition to the series, there will be workshop practicals where participants can put the skills they have to learnt to practice in a working environment.

Read about the program here. All workshops are FREE for paid members.

Red Hot Arts staff can be booked by members to help plan pathways to success, offer technical advice on their shows, develop effective promotions and support with improving their budgets, applications and project planning. Contact us to book.

The Remote Mentoring Program is a professional development initiative that lifts the geographical barrier of working remotely by providing access to some of Australia’s leading companies and independent artists via room scale video conferencing equipment. Artists can choose a mentor relevant to their practice, then digitally engage with them in Red Hot Arts Studio, Workshop or Meeting Room.

In 2018, mentees accessed professionals from around the globe to support their practice. With great outcomes including class delivery, being supported to create new works and furthering their own artistic careers. Contact Arts Development.

Subject to funding, Red Hot Arts will offer three four-week residencies to local artists, providing time, space, technical support and funding for artists to work in a non-outcome imperative environment. We will provide platforms for feedback and sharing throughout the residency.

Selection of artists will be made through an EOI process and reviewed by the programming committee and staff prior to being accepted. Resident artists will be scheduled into weekday daytime sessions or weekends, depending on their requirements.  Contact Arts Development.
