Workshop Program 2020

Red Hot Arts Central Australia’s Workshop Program for 2020 aims to up skill artists and arts workers in the areas of event management and producing,  sound production, marketing and promotion and website creation.

The 2020 Program will deliver four workshop series, consisting of 3-5 sessions each. Artists will be invited to participate in any or all the workshops offered that are relevant to their practice. In addition to the series, there will be opportunities where participants can put the skills they have to learnt to practice in a working environment.

All workshops are FREE and will be delivered in person at Red Hot Arts and also online via Zoom.

WORKSHOPS

sound production through ableton live workshop series – july 23rd – august 6th

Workshop Facilitator – Darcy Davis

In this series Darcy breaks down the fundamentals of beat-making with Ableton Live to get you on your feet over 3 workshops, starting from the basics and advancing into more deeper production concepts.

Participants will need their own laptop and the ability to download the Ableton Live 30 day free trial.

showcasing your art as a professional business workshop series – june 30th – july 21st

event management workshop series – august/september

Workshop Facilitators: Anders Pfeiffer and Mary-Jane Warfield

Join event management veterans MJ Warfield & Anders Pfeiffer for a low down on event management. Topics covered will include vision, planning, resources (both physical and financial), marketing, production, delivery and evaluation. Basics will be covered in the Event Management 101 workshop. Event Management 102 will delve deeper into management practices and offer opportunities for mentoring and work experience in the field.
