The Alice Springs Library is an essential part of the Central Australian community. It is utilised as a hub to meet, hang out, work, play, study, exhibit and hold an event. The Library hosts scores of community events each year, for a variety of ages and groups. We’re always looking to collaborate with local and interstate authors, artists, speakers, teachers and creatives. Please get in touch or swing by if you have a great idea, and you’d like to work with us or use the Library space.

Venue: Meeting Rooms and Multi-purpose space suitable for workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, performances and presentations.

The Long Road from a Broken Heart – Author Talk with Jeremy Scott

On the 15th of October 2011, Jeremy began a challenge of a lifetime, a 2 ½ year, 51,916 km solo bicycle ride from London to New Zealand. As he pedalled his way around the planet, Jeremy covered more than enough distance to circumnavigate the Earth. This phenomenal journey was made possible thanks to the open-heart surgery which saved his life as a child.
