Joshua Santospirito, creator of 'The Long Weekend in Alice Springs', returns to Mparntwe to celebrate the release of his new graphic novel 'The Islands Where We Left Our Ancestors'.
About the book:
Joshua and his father hope to locate the burial place of Joshua’s great-great-grandfather on the island of Salina. But it’s not always so easy to find the past you’re looking for, nor to travel with your parents.
Come and say hello and have Joshua sign your books!
Want more? On Thurs 4th July, he'll be at Upstairs at Epilogue with violinist Natalya Bing to present an audiovisual storytelling performance created from the book.
A wonderful live storytelling made from one part musical theatre, one part comics.
Upstairs at Epilogue, doors at 7pm, performance at 8pm.
'The Islands Where We Left Our Ancestors' will be released on July 2 nationally through Scribe.
