Bindi Magic 2024 - last days!

Bindi Magic is an annual exhibition hosted by Bindi Mwerre Anthurre Artists to showcase the latest and finest artworks from the Bindi artists. This exhibition is a satellite event of Desert Mob, one of nations oldest Aboriginal art festivals. 

The Bindi artists are well-renowned and some have painted at Bindi for over 20 years, and others are new, exciting and emerging. Bindi Mwerre Anthurre art portrays the essence and beauty of Central Australia. Each artwork reflects the life and surrounds of the region as seen, known and loved by the artists.

Bindi Mwerre Anthurre Artists studio has been operating since 2000 for Indigenous artists living with disabilities. The studio provides a means for artists to pursue and nourish their artistic practices. The Mwerre Anthurre Artists hail from communities across the Central Desert region – from Kaltukatjara (Docker River) to Yuendumu – yet most reside in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). The painting process is an expression of self and a connection to country.
