Soft Country is Kathleen's first solo exhibition in her hometown Mparntwe, Alice Springs. She is of Pitajantjara and Scottish/English mixed heritage. Kathleen holds the knowledge of both traditional Aboriginal Culture and modern Australian life, softly merging this duality in the narrative of her artwork.

Soft Country is an invitation to see the beauty and feel the love in Kathleen Buzzacott’s paintings that are a salve for the soul.

With special guest Respected elder Trevor Adamson -Tjamu (grandfather). In connection with Kathleen's painting titled ULURU, Trevor Adamson will perform Palya Wiru Uluru and give a cultural talk on the history and closing of the climb of Australia's iconic landmark, Uluru.

Live music by Keith Buzzacott and friends.

Hosted by The Roastery Cafe, providing dinner, bar and space for gathering from 6-9pm.

The Exhibition will close 30th May.
