Join us for a unique sonic adventure with 5 brilliant double bass players led by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s leading bassist Ben Ward, with local stars of: Luiz Gubeissi, Kenny Glaze, Matt Owen, and Latecia Body.
In muso circles, the colossal double bass is often referred to as The Tree, and in this performance the musicians and their instruments will be heard in surround sound all around our spectacular back yard and hillside as sunset turns to night.
The event finishes with a duet between Chris Cutler (drums) and Jon Rose (tenor violin).
